Embossing

Embossing, also known as Hot Foil Stamping is a process using a variety of existing font sets, made up to your personal requirements which is then applied by machine pressure to produce a lasting, deep impression into the surface of the product. As heat is used, the leather retains the impression indefinitely. Not only do we offer gold, silver and blind (no colour fill) embossing, we offer a choice of extra colours too.

Some of the most popular items that we emboss are:

  • Albums
  • Journals
  • Travel accessories
  • Handbags
  • Purses
  • Diaries
  • Jewelery Boxes/Watch boxes
  • Padfolios
  • Belts
  • Gun sleeves/cartridge bags
  • and many more

We are highly skilled in this field of personalisation and as we are situated in central London, we are able to emboss some items same day. We take great pride and care with personal items and always strive for 100%. We take time to understand what our customers are looking for and try to accomodate special requirements.

Monograms & Brass Dies

A monogram, made up by overlapping or combining two or more letters to form one symbol. Monograms with the initials of an individual or a company are very popular.

A traditional 3 letter monogram has the initial of the individuals last name set larger, while the first name initial appears to the left and the middle name initial to the right. For example if the individuals name is Steven Richard Scott, the arragement would be SCR.

Brass Dies

When a logo or a design needs to be copied exactly how it is, we can produce what is known as a blocking die, which is an exact engraved brass copy of the required detail which can then be used whenever required to personalize future items. There is a one off cost for the brass die, the die is then yours to keep. An embossing die is made per your specification, when artwork is not available we can help with creating new designs.
